I don't have juicy gossip on this stuff, so I'm going roll-call style here...
Russian Piroshky place whose name I don't remember already-but there's paper on their windows. They were there for a while- what happened? Perhaps buying piroshkies, pastries, shoes and a tube of toothpaste all in the place was a tough concept.
Bella Tesori- A sad, slow and drawn out death. RIP my sweet.
Dakshin South Indian Bistro- In Kirkland Square a couple doors down from Rock Star Tan Bar. Yummy food for takeout if you like Indian- owners (Chef JP and Sumana Shetty, photo) are super friendly and will help you navigate through the menu, which doesn't have photos or explanations of their South Indian cuisine quite yet. You'll find dosas, curries, and other ethnic specials. The chicken 65 was nice and spicy which could be cooled down with a 'lassi' (yogurty shake in various flavors) and the veggie pakoras were delicious too. They just opened last week!
Realogics Sotheby's Realty- realty and wine, why not? They haven't emailed me back, but big signs for fall 2013.. which is almost over by looking at the leaves (which btw, now cost you $5.07 PER BAG that you leave on your curb for Waste Management !!!!!)
Mosaic- I've got info on this-- independent studios, will share with you soon.
Asher-Heard they might be moving to another spot in Downtown Kirkland?? Unverified.
--Old Bella Tesori spot-- could be a new Turkish deli soon. What is a Turkish deli? Guess we'll find out.
Aren't these kind of posts fun? So many gems all in one place. They kinda exhaust me. But it does make me happy to get all of this clutter out of my brain at once. ~j
