Some new Kirkland links...
March 13, 2007
Random thoughts: cool website, St. Patty's day, whatever.
Kirkland 52 is a new photo blog started by Emily Stchur. She is taking photos of Kirkland every week and posting them to her blog. Take a look, her work is excellent. Here is an example of one of her photos:
St. Patrick's Day is this Saturday and the Wilde Rover (our own Irish Pub) is hosting it's 1st Annual St. Patrick's Day Celebration in downtown Kirkland. The Wilde Rover is constantly sponsoring community events around Kirkland and they have events planned for the entire day on March 17, 2007. They have brunch and family activities planned during the day and festivities for the adults during the night. Lot's of live music, good food and of course, beer. Call 425-822-8940 for details. Space is limited so make your reservations early!
There is also a second annual Geoffrey Castle St .Patrick's Day Concert at the Kirkland Performance Center that sounds like fun.
Anything else going on? Let us know...Steve
Don't forget about the Kirkland American Little League (KALL)Parade on Saturday (March 17th) as well! This parade starts at 10am from Heritage goes through Marina Park and ends up at Lee Johnson Field. This is the 56th Year of the Kirkland American Little League. For more info check out www.kall.org.
